Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Internet Time and the services it relies on process when you visit or use the site.
Internet Time is built by Xamantech. The clock and converter run in your browser; there are no accounts, and the app does not send your alarm names or display preferences to an Internet Time server. Google Analytics 4 is optional and loads only if you accept analytics. You can continue using the site without making a choice; analytics stays off until you accept.

Information we process
Google Analytics 4
If you accept analytics, the live site loads Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-GRNFZWZ7NJ) to measure visits and interactions. We count actions such as conversions, copying, sharing, comparing cities and setting reminders, but do not send the entered time, target beat or reminder name as event data. If you reject or have not chosen, the Google Analytics script and its analytics cookies are not loaded. If you withdraw consent after accepting, future analytics collection is disabled and Google Analytics cookies are cleared where the browser allows it. After consent, Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers and process information such as pages viewed, browser and device details, referral source, approximate location and network information. Google Analytics may use IP-derived signals to estimate broad location; consult Google’s privacy information for details about its handling of IP data. Analytics is available on the public internettime.site domain, not on local development or preview hosts.
Information kept in your browser
Internet Time stores your theme choice, text-size preference, beat reminders (including a beat value and optional reminder name), and analytics consent choice in your browser’s local storage. These settings are not sent to an Internet Time account or app server. The app reads your device timezone through the browser but does not save a timezone preference. The time you enter in the converter is processed in the page and is not submitted to an Internet Time server.
Hosting, fonts and sharing
Netlify hosts the website and may process technical request information, such as IP address and request details, in its service logs and for security. The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which receives a request from your browser when the font files are fetched. If you choose a Facebook, WhatsApp or X sharing button, your browser opens that service and sends it the shared link and information described by that service’s own policy. Internet Time does not receive your email address through the share controls, and it does not provide email alerts.
How we use information
Analytics helps us understand general usage and improve the site. Local settings make the theme, text size and reminders work across visits in the same browser. Hosting and security information helps deliver and protect the website.
We do not sell personal information. We do not have user accounts or a backend that stores converter entries, city selections or alarm lists.
Data storage, cookies and security
Theme, text-size, alarm preferences and the analytics choice remain in local storage on your device until you remove the site’s browser data. You can reopen Cookie settings in the footer to change your analytics choice. The app’s shared URL may include a beat snapshot, for example ?beat=342.50; anyone who receives that link can see the beat value in it, and the URL may appear in Netlify request logs. Google Analytics pageviews and events omit query strings and fragments.
Google Analytics may set cookies or use similar technologies only after you accept analytics. You can also block cookies or clear them in your browser settings; doing so does not prevent the local clock and converter from working. Browser notifications are controlled by your browser and operating system.
The public site is served over HTTPS. No Internet service can promise absolute security, and Netlify and Google process information under their own security practices and terms.

This version of Internet Time does not display advertising. Analytics is not loaded on local development or preview hosts.
Your choices and requests
- Accept or reject optional analytics in the notice, or change your choice later using Cookie settings in the footer.
- Clear this site’s local storage and cookies in your browser to remove locally stored preferences, reminders and the saved analytics choice.
- Use browser settings or an analytics opt-out tool to further limit Google Analytics measurement.
- Contact us to ask about applicable access, rectification, cancellation or opposition rights (ARCO), and about information associated with the analytics property. Analytics data may be aggregated and may not identify a particular visitor.
- External providers process information under their own policies; requests about their records may need to be made directly to them.
